This understairs space was completely transformed from an awkward, unused area into a practical and stylish bespoke storage solution designed specifically around the customer’s home.
Before the installation, the space beneath the staircase offered very little usable storage and left a large area of the hallway going to waste. We designed and built the units to follow the exact angle of the staircase, making use of virtually every available inch while keeping the finished hallway looking clean and uncluttered.
The completed design combines full-height cupboards, pull-out drawers and larger pull-out storage sections, providing plenty of room for everyday household items while keeping everything neatly hidden away. Each section was individually built to maximise the different heights and depths available beneath the stairs.
The white cabinetry contrasts beautifully with the dark staircase, while the simple brushed handles give the finished storage a clean, contemporary appearance that feels like part of the original home rather than an addition.
